Guido Vissenaeken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Chorache having to make a save. Guido Vissenaeken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jonas Chorache made a huge save. If Guido Vissenaeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 20th minute of play forced ♦Diabetes♦'s goalkeeper Jonas Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brugge United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaspar Van Den Broeck in the 26th minute. After taking down the ball on Brugge United's corner Jaspar Van Den Broeck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonas Chorache quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Carolo Stephen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brugge United's Vítor Baia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 35th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Isaltino Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♦Diabetes♦'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brugge United the free kick. Isaltino Barral hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Stephen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Carolo Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vítor Baia made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Carolo Stephen sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Ronaldinho replaced Carolo Stephen. Brugge United made a substitution. Waud Huijbrechts replaced Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnauld Van Impe in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Chorache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute of the match Brugge United got a corner. ♦Diabetes♦'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waud Huijbrechts ran over to the corner to take the kick. Will Deman made a great header on Brugge United's corner, it was just that ♦Diabetes♦'s Jonas Chorache managed to reach the ball for a save. 72 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnauld Van Impe came free, but Jonas Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Milio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. ♦Diabetes♦ made a substitution. Cosme Gilen replaced Maurinho Senna. Benjamin Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ♦Diabetes♦'s zone, Arnauld Van Impe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Chorache came out of the goal and Arnauld Van Impe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnauld Van Impe came free, but Jonas Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ♦Diabetes♦'s Hilario Lope got a free kick in the 86th minute. When ♦Diabetes♦'s Cristiano Ronaldinho in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brugge United's goalie prevented a goal. ♦Diabetes♦'s Anthon Odén was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Baia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brugge United's Will Deman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isaltino Barral in the 93 minute of the game. Will Deman charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Will Deman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
