Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrik Bernaers started the match with the kick off. Deportivo La Corona's Guido Vuerinx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo La Corona from getting a goal against them. Patrik Bernaers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guido Vuerinx came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrik Bernaers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Ivan Cox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Rombouts in the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, Deportivo La Corona's Guido Vuerinx got control of the ball when Geordy Verelst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Cox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kieth Van Der Elst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, V.D.B. Foundation's goal looked a bit too open when Oswald Rombouts came free, but Ivan Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Deportivo La Corona got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Louis Bruynincx. Oswald Rombouts scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Cox, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to V.D.B. Foundation getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Geordy Verelst hit a great ball. Ivan Cox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kieth Van Der Elst in the 30th minute of the match. Ivan Cox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswald Rombouts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, V.D.B. Foundation's goal looked a bit too open when Renzo De Mol came free, but Ivan Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Van Meerbeec in the 34th minute of play. Guido Vuerinx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geordy Verelst showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 37 minute of play. When Bavo Gebuers fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored V.D.B. Foundation's protests and gave Bavo Gebuers a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 minutes of play, Deportivo La Corona's Renzo De Mol made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Cox was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

Davy Aerts kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Deportivo La Corona's Guido Vuerinx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davy Aerts in the 58th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Deportivo La Corona's Kieth Van Der Elst made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Cox was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the V.D.B. Foundation defense, Kieth Van Der Elst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Cox. The V.D.B. Foundation fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Cox should have stopped the shot. Ivan Cox made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Greg Van Meerbeec sent off a good shot on target. Bavo Gebuers hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Deportivo La Corona's Timmy Coopmans shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ivan Cox but with some difficulty. 76 minutes into the match, V.D.B. Foundation's goalkeeper Ivan Cox had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greg Van Meerbeec. 77 minutes into the match, V.D.B. Foundation's goal looked a bit too open when Oswald Rombouts came free, but Ivan Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Kieth Van Der Elst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Ivan Cox was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Greg Van Meerbeec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Deportivo La Corona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg Van Meerbeec to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, V.D.B. Foundation's Tristan Mangelschot got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 87th minute, Timmy Coopmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in V.D.B. Foundation's zone, Renzo De Mol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Cox came out of the goal and Renzo De Mol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kieth Van Der Elst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
