Mehmet Emrah Dolunay kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayfun Tanfer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MarineerS FK's Ján Novák got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Žydrūnas Pauža had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Tekin Batırhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarineerS FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tekin Batırhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galatasaray SK's Latif Al Fakir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Novák in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Ján Novák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarineerS FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. MarineerS FK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Galatasaray SK to leave the ground with a draw.
