Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Volkan Kural got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Frodo Di Marco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lilywhites's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frodo Di Marco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brugse Boeren's zone, Fabiano Pellecchia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Haentjens came out of the goal and Fabiano Pellecchia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Haentjens was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Fabiano Pellecchia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabiano Pellecchia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With an all-out effort, Lilywhites's Denis Haentjens threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Volkan Kural, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Denis Haentjens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Mauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Michelini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Brugse Boeren defense, Volkan Kural kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Haentjens. The Brugse Boeren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Haentjens should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Volkan Kural shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Haentjens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Haentjens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volkan Kural, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Lilywhites's Volkan Kural ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denis Haentjens. Denis Haentjens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 41st minute of the match, Fabiano Pellecchia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denis Haentjens was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Alberigo Mauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Volkan Kural managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lilywhites's supporters rose to their feet, but Volkan Kural was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Haentjens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosimo Michelini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Brugse Boeren's Klaus Snijers got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th match minute, Brugse Boeren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Van de Velde to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Volkan Kural's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Haentjens was relentless in the 49th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Klaas Wouqier made the kick off in the second half. Denis Haentjens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Pellecchia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Haentjens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Michelini in the 58th minute of play. Volkan Kural struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Denis Haentjens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lilywhites. After 66 minutes of play, Lilywhites's Cosimo Michelini made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Haentjens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberigo Mauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Haentjens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberigo Mauro ran back to his position shaking his head. Denis Haentjens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Michelini in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Cosimo Michelini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lilywhites fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Cosimo Michelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Haentjens having to interfere. Denis Haentjens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Michelini, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Volkan Kural took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Haentjens. Denis Haentjens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 87 minutes into the match, Brugse Boeren's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Mauro came free, but Denis Haentjens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Cosimo Michelini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Haentjens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Volkan Kural ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Haentjens was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. There was no doubt that Lilywhites were the better team. Lilywhites's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
