In the 4th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatan Molina to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, CD Municipal's Bai Kun De threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrique Cassaretto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Raimundo Espírito Santo made a precise shot to the right of George Forsyth. CD Municipal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zlatan Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bai Kun De tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Espírito Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Espírito Santo came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martino Armona got free with Bai Kun De in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Supremacy Catania FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martino Armona took the corner. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Martino Armona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Supremacy Catania FC's Cesare Maestri was substituted for Franco Lizzi. Supremacy Catania FC made a substitution. Rachid Baba Ali Factor replaced Carter Barillari. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Maestri in the 67th minute of the match.
