Florentino Ospin came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens. But to his dismay, Godfried Teunens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried Teunens in the 12th minute of play forced Morabem EC's goalkeeper Florentino Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfried Teunens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Ospin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli got control of the ball when Zeca Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the La Bichineta defense, Zeca Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Peli. The La Bichineta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Peli should have stopped the shot. Zeca Esteves struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Silvestre Peli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morabem EC. 31 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Ospin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, La Bichineta's Godfried Teunens made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Ospin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florentino Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Teunens in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Godfried Teunens made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Ospin. Morabem EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morabem EC's goalkeeper Florentino Ospin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Morabem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Teunens came free, but Florentino Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Godfried Teunens scored 1-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentino Ospin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfried Teunens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Ospin having to interfere. In the 61st minute Eliseo Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morabem EC made a substitution. Norberto Neto replaced Mané Nascimento. 70 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's Eliseo Iigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Ospin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Morabem EC booed when La Bichineta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eliseo Iigo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the La Bichineta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Iigo couldn't finish the play. Florentino Ospin made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Eliseo Iigo sent off a good shot on target. Florentino Ospin had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Poncio Justo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Eliseo Iigo notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Morabem EC's Florentino Ospin. Florentino Ospin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Castel in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Ospin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of La Bichineta booed when Morabem EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Bichineta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
