Edmund Konopka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernie Gauthier, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Emil Kiepski came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Alvise Di Crescenzo. But to his dismay, Alvise Di Crescenzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, FC Kadzidlowen's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Di Crescenzo came free, but Emil Kiepski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Edmund Konopka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Puchlik in the 29th minute of play. In the 37th minute Alvise Di Crescenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Kiepski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ got a corner. FC Kadzidlowen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cezary Duda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edmund Konopka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Kadzidlowen getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Remigiusz Dylla hit a great ball. Alvise Di Crescenzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernie Gauthier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Edmund Konopka made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Tevez to make the kick off. Michal Helik made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Kadzidlowen's Edin Cocalić. Bernie Gauthier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Kadzidlowen's Emil Kiepski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kadzidlowen's zone, Alvise Di Crescenzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Kiepski came out of the goal and Alvise Di Crescenzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™'s Tomasz Wojtowicz was substituted for Marcin Baszczyński. 68 minutes into the match, FC Kadzidlowen's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Di Crescenzo came free, but Emil Kiepski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Kiepski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Di Crescenzo in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Kadzidlowen's Emil Kiepski got control of the ball when Alvise Di Crescenzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmund Konopka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Gauthier in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 played minutes ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Teofila. FC Kadzidlowen's Maksymilian Sedzikowski was substituted for Bernie Gauthier. A collision led to ★Stadion Śląski Chorzów★™ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Janusz Teofila hit a great ball. Edmund Konopka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksymilian Sedzikowski in the 90th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Emil Kiepski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 93 minutes FC Kadzidlowen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cezary Duda who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomasz Fosaa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Kiepski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
