Nicolas Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED BLUE STAR. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Nicolas Ceresso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nicolas Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Stancu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, RED BLUE STAR's Nicodim Stancu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolas Ceresso. Nicolas Ceresso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Niculae Perșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RED BLUE STAR's Grigore Buzgar got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Narcis Voiculescu sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Ceresso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Cosmos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Perșas short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Nicolas Ceresso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nicolas Ceresso was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Niculae Perșa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niculae Perșa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Márcio Peres fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos FC's protests and gave Márcio Peres a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cosmos FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Márcio Peres hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Niculae Perșa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narcis Voiculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Ceresso having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Niculae Perșa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos FC's Nicolas Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Codruț Grozăvescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED BLUE STAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codruț Grozăvescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Buzgar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Niculae Perșa lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Nicolas Ceresso.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niculae Perșa made a kick off. In the 56th minute Niculae Perșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Nicodim Stancu put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Ceresso. After 60 played minutes Cosmos FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Marques. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Perșa in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Ceresso saved Cosmos FC from getting behind. Nicolas Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicodim Stancu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Mateus Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Niculae Perșa came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the RED BLUE STAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Perșa couldn't finish the play. Niculae Perșa took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Ceresso. Nicolas Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 73rdth minute of the game Niculae Perșa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos FC's Nicolas Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the game, RED BLUE STAR's Niculae Perșa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Perșa in the 78th minute of play forced Cosmos FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Cosmos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Cosmos FC's Nicolas Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Perșa in the 86th minute of play. Nicolas Ceresso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Manciulea went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute Niculae Perșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RED BLUE STAR fully deserved thier win.
