Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ken Halliday started the match with the kick off. Les Hayles's late challenge caught a AA GUARULHOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Les Hayles helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tynemouth Wanderers's Les Hayles got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Tynemouth Wanderers's Brown Jackson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinto Ampudia in the 4th minute of play. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Brian Morris with John-Paul Amos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Brown Jackson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Ampudia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lance Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quinto Ampudia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brown Jackson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia in the 11th minute of play. Roy Hume made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AA GUARULHOS's André Cruz. Quinto Ampudia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quinto Ampudia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brown Jackson having to make a save. Brown Jackson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Ampudia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Lance Cabezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brown Jackson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Hortêncio Donatello in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tynemouth Wanderers's Les Hayles. After having played for 34 minutes, Lance Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AA GUARULHOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Cabezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brown Jackson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tynemouth Wanderers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacobo Porfirio was slow to take the kick. During this time AA GUARULHOS's players had a chance to rest. Quinto Ampudia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Brown Jackson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quinto Ampudia might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brown Jackson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quinto Ampudia ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Tynemouth Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Quinto Ampudia came free, but Brown Jackson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Lance Cabezas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the AA GUARULHOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lance Cabezas couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes in the game Brian Morris did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jonny Haigh. Quinto Ampudia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brown Jackson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Tynemouth Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Quinto Ampudia came free, but Brown Jackson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quinto Ampudia might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brown Jackson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quinto Ampudia ran back to his position shaking his head. Brown Jackson was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Quinto Ampudia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Quinto Ampudia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Quinto Ampudia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AA GUARULHOS made a substitution. Karin Benzema replaced Quinto Ampudia. A sloppy throw-in by Brian Morris in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AA GUARULHOS's Hortêncio Donatello. Brown Jackson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karin Benzema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AA GUARULHOS's attentive Hortêncio Donatello managed to snatch the ball when Brian Morris made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, AA GUARULHOS's Karin Benzema dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Carlos Alberto Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Roche in the 93rd minute of the match. Brown Jackson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karin Benzema went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AA GUARULHOS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
