Yao Ming Yun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Padro in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Latif Al Fakir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Severiano Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Latif Al Fakir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Umbekannt87 defense, Cristiano Hagi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yao Ming Yun. The Umbekannt87 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yao Ming Yun should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Målare in the 18th minute of play forced Umbekannt87's goalkeeper Yao Ming Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's Anders Målare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Ming Yun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Anders Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Ming Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umbekannt87's Yao Ming Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Målare in the 23rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Cristiano Hagi sped through Umbekannt87's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yao Ming Yun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Padro in the 35th minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Latif Al Fakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Målare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Umbekannt87's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Målare came free, but Yao Ming Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray SK's zone, Rafael Urtungo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Latif Al Fakir came out of the goal and Rafael Urtungo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Galatasaray SK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Valeriy Chernetsov hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Cristiano Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Ming Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yao Ming Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Hagi in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Galatasaray SK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Anders Målare made the kick off in the second half. Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 51st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Umbekannt87's goalkeeper Yao Ming Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galatasaray SK were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Umbekannt87's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valeriy Chernetsov took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Umbekannt87's goalie and right to Cristiano Hagi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Umbekannt87's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray SK's Cristiano Hagi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yao Ming Yun. That made the score 0-6 after 61 minutes of play. Cristiano Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Yao Ming Yun made a huge save. Anders Målare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yao Ming Yun having to make a save. In the 68th minute of the match, Anders Målare tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yao Ming Yun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Umbekannt87 defense, Cristiano Hagi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yao Ming Yun. The Umbekannt87 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yao Ming Yun should have stopped the shot. After 74 minutes Umbekannt87's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valeriy Chernetsov who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Valeriy Chernetsov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yao Ming Yun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute, Cristiano Hagi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yao Ming Yun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Latif Al Fakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Umbekannt87's Yao Ming Yun got control of the ball when Cristiano Hagi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
