Karin Benzema might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hu Fan Yi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karin Benzema ran back to his position shaking his head. Hu Fan Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karin Benzema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Owen Martin got free with Carlos Alberto Tinoco in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karin Benzema struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Hu Fan Yi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AA GUARULHOS. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Buckingham AFC's Hu Fan Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Itzaina in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buckingham AFC's Jardel Gol got a free kick in the 61st minute. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Stamatis Pavlakos with Jack Norton as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hortêncio Donatello hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match.
