Cementerio Club's Isidro Rumaldo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rosendo Iraido, made in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Santo Gonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Omero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Santo Gonzo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Candelaria FC's Lorenzo Omero. Lorenzo Omero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cementerio Club's Herminio Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Elazar in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Santo Gonzo made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Santo Gonzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Omero. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Gonzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Thanks to some nice moves Santo Gonzo could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Lorenzo Omero however easily saved by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Cementerio Club's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Elazar came free, but Herminio Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nahuel Calderón, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes, Delmar Kelemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Cementerio Club players grew even worse after the yellow card.
