Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernst Pluijssens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bow McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sander De Koq in the 9th minute of play. Anderlecht's Fred De Maerschalckx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Anderlecht from getting a goal against them. Clontoe's Bow McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camiel Huijbrechts in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Clontoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berrin Dimson to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Keely Martyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred De Maerschalckx was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Anderlecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Seveneijnts to maneuver through the defense. Fred De Maerschalckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keely Martyn in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keely Martyn got free with Fred De Maerschalckx in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keely Martyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Fred De Maerschalckx made a huge save. A hard shot 26 in the game by Keely Martyn from a close distance when the talented Fred De Maerschalckx managed to make a qualified save. Anderlecht's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sander De Koq in the 29th minute of play forced Clontoe's goalkeeper Bow McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keely Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gino Tobbackers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bow McPhil having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clontoe's Alan McFrank got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Leon Verdonck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bow McPhil skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Anderlecht booed when Clontoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keely Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ernst Pluijssens notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Clontoe's Bow McPhil. Bow McPhil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bow McPhil came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Anderlecht's Camiel Huijbrechts. But to his dismay, Camiel Huijbrechts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Anderlecht were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keely Martyn to strike the kick off in the second half. Camiel Huijbrechtss short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Bow McPhil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Clontoe's Alan McFrank got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Sander De Koq shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bow McPhil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Clontoe's Keely Martyn got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anderlecht's goalkeeper Fred De Maerschalckx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fred De Maerschalckx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keely Martyn's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Amaury Vissenakens hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Riley Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clontoe's supporters rose to their feet, but Riley Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred De Maerschalckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sander De Koq succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 72nd playminute. The supporters of Anderlecht booed when Clontoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clontoe's Bow McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camiel Huijbrechts in the 78th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Quentin Gysemans put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Anderlecht:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clontoe:s goal. Fred De Maerschalckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keely Martyn in the 88th minute of play. Bow McPhil made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Camiel Huijbrechts sent off a good shot on target. Bow McPhil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Pluijssens in the 91st minute of the match. Barney Martyn kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
