Romeu Batista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the game, Tião Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esporte Clube Zeus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wakanda fv FSCMZ the free kick. A collision led to Esporte Clube Zeus getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tião Baiano hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Fábio Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Ramiro Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Bezerra in the 22nd minute of play. Romeu Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Alagoano went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Osvaldo Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Alagoano in the 41st minute of the match. Romeu Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Bezerra in the 44th minute of play. Osvaldo Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Romeu Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wakanda fv FSCMZ. Esporte Clube Zeus's Romeu Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Bezerra in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rony Chaves to make the kick off. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Fábio Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeu Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
