Bob Marley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Christian Carballo made a huge save. After some careless play in the Real Juniors defense, Bob Marley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Carballo. The Real Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Carballo should have stopped the shot. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Kazczyk in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Juniors's Yonko Tarchev got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's Bob Marley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Carballo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mati Suárez came free, but Christian Carballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bob Marley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Carballo. That made the score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. After 43 played minutes La Pantera Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Romarinho Riquelme. 44 minutes into the game, Javi Pinola threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Pantera Azulgrana's Denis Fidele quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mati Suárez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Carballo having to interfere.

Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl was substituted for Sebastian Kazczyk. The wind increased when Ahmet Efe Suheyl made the kick off in the second half. Christian Carballo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bob Marley went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dibag Martinez saved La Pantera Azulgrana from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Real Juniors's Dibag Martinez threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 59 played minutes Real Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Yonko Tarchev. Christian Carballo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Marley in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Marley came free, but Christian Carballo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Marley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Pantera Azulgrana's Nicolas Jaen was substituted for Orlando Bloom. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Marley in the 81st minute of play forced Real Juniors's goalkeeper Christian Carballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Bob Marley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Christian Carballo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute Ahmet Efe Suheyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dibag Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match La Pantera Azulgrana got a corner. Real Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mati Suárez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mati Suárez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Carballo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Marley in the 90th minute of play forced Real Juniors's goalkeeper Christian Carballo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 92nd minute of play forced La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jerry Dhanabalan fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Juniors's protests and gave Jerry Dhanabalan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Juniors getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jerry Dhanabalan hit a great ball. There was no doubt that La Pantera Azulgrana were the better team. La Pantera Azulgrana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
