Venancio Oto made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Dobromir Huk sent off a good shot on target. Dobromir Huk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Venancio Oto firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Frichoso in the 22nd minute of play forced SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Santiago Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Urbasa in the 25th minute of the match. Santiago Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 36th minute of the match, Alonzo Urbasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venancio Oto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th minute Dobromir Huk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Eleazar in the 40th minute of play forced SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Santiago Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Eleazar came free, but Santiago Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Punta Alvear getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Godofredo Guifre hit a great ball. Jacinto Eleazar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santiago Toli. SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

54 minutes into the game, Máximo Kirchner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Venancio Oto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Huk in the 58th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Guifre during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Punta Alvear made a substitution. Edelmiro Veremundo replaced Emanuel Gizon. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Punta Alvear! Venancio Oto had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Alonzo Urbasa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 2-0 came in the 63rd minute when Alonzo Urbasa all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Venancio Oto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Navarro in the 66th minute of play forced Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Venancio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute Inocencio Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Frichoso got free with Santiago Toli in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SABALEPLUS's Santiago Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Eleazar in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, SABALEPLUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liberto Millar to maneuver through the defense.
