Maximo Villamarin started the match with the kick off. Evaristo Errapel's late challenge caught a Red Reign's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Errapel helped the player get up and apologised. Evaristo Errapel hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Orzaize was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the game, Evaristo Errapel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Red Reign's Fabian Cerdeño quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Elliott Tinglöfs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Dawid Ratulowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Red Reign's Lopez Portanares got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gabriel Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 28th minute of play. Evaristo Errapel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gabriel Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Quitilipi defense, Maximo Villamarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Orzaize. The Quitilipi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Orzaize should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Maximo Villamarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Reign fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Gabriel Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 45th minute of play. Maximo Villamarin took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Orzaize. Gabriel Orzaize dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Quitilipi's Gabriel Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Quitilipi defense, Lopez Portanares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Orzaize. The Quitilipi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Orzaize should have stopped the shot. Dawid Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremey Vanooteghem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes of play, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Orzaize was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quitilipi made a substitution. Nunez Hulberto replaced Evaristo Errapel. Maximo Villamarin scored 0-7 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Orzaize, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Red Reign's Xosepe Villamizar was substituted for Zigor Ardanza. Gabriel Orzaize was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Maximo Villamarin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximo Villamarin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After 87th play minutes Maximo Villamarin shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Gabriel Orzaize and just under the crossbar into goal. Maximo Villamarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximo Villamarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gabriel Orzaize made a huge save. Alejandro Benitez charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Benitez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Benitez. Gabriel Orzaize made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 92nd minute. After 95 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Hulberto.
