Peder Sarstedts short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Rigoberto Nazario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Peder Sarstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rigoberto Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Peder Sarstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Sarstedt in the 32nd minute of the match. Rigoberto Nazario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peder Sarstedt's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Milian in the 39th minute of play forced Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Bengt Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Jonasson in the 42nd minute of play. Huvudstaden were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Argentinos Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrik Heggert took the corner. The corner led Huvudstaden's Patrik Heggert to fire away a dangerous shot which Rigoberto Nazario despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th minute Peder Sarstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Heggert in the 91st minute of the match. Rigoberto Nazario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Heggert went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Argentinos Juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Huvudstaden.
