The Szombathely Squirrels fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nikitas Karagiotas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 17th minute of play forced DULCKA KIELCE's goalkeeper Nikitas Karagiotas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikitas Karagiotas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, DULCKA KIELCE's Ryszard Barycz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnold Szuper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Radomil Kolbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Kolbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tivadar Demeter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikitas Karagiotas was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The corner ended in Attila Kiss almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DULCKA KIELCE's Nikitas Karagiotas did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Barycz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 56th minute of play forced DULCKA KIELCE's goalkeeper Nikitas Karagiotas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szombathely Squirrels made a substitution. Lei Jian Xiong replaced Tivadar Demeter. Szombathely Squirrels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luciano Aued in the 59th minute. The corner led Szombathely Squirrels's Luciano Aued to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikitas Karagiotas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lei Jian Xiong in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikitas Karagiotas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 68th minute of play forced DULCKA KIELCE's goalkeeper Nikitas Karagiotas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikitas Karagiotas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by József Varga. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lei Jian Xiong sped through DULCKA KIELCE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikitas Karagiotas. Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikitas Karagiotas made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Lei Jian Xiong sent off a good shot on target. Lei Jian Xiong scored 0-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikitas Karagiotas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute of the match Szombathely Squirrels got a corner. DULCKA KIELCE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano Aued ran over to the corner to take the kick. Szombathely Squirrels's Luciano Aued was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nikitas Karagiotas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. József Varga hit a great ball. The DULCKA KIELCE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Szombathely Squirrels were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
