Raúl Ceresso ran back to his position shaking his head. Porjus's Ivar Unesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Porjus from getting a goal against them. In the 12th match minute, Porjus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Marinot to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Gualter Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talento Futebol clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porjus the free kick. 16 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Termander came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Talento Futebol clube's Michel van der Bij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Apelqvist in the 91st minute of play. Michel van der Bij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Termander in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Porjus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talento Futebol clube throughout the match.
