The Seventh Eleven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballet Azul the free kick. Maximilian Blomkvist hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Gusmão in the 16th minute of the match. José Luis Chilavert was a little too slow when Hatemi Mukbil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ballet Azul's José Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Stensson in the 21st minute of play. Santiago Cardenas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. José Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Duset in the 25th minute of the match. Pepe Rojas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Oskar Utfal. The Seventh Eleven's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Hatemi Mukbil came free, but José Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ballet Azul booed when The Seventh Eleven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Ballet Azul were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling René Puente in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Oskar Utfal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ballet Azul eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
