Erland Spetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dumitru Velicu's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute, Dumitru Velicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erland Spetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Betão Camargo might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erland Spetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betão Camargo ran back to his position shaking his head. Erland Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Velicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yin Zhi Wei kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Velester Football Club's Pietro Romeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erland Spetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dumitru Velicu scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erland Spetz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Näshulta FK's Staffan Hjortsberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. Miguel Gai took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Scarinci. Ferdinando Scarinci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 37th minute, Dumitru Velicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erland Spetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. If Dumitru Velicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Näshulta FK's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Velicu came free, but Erland Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dumitru Velicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumitru Velicu in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erland Spetz saved Näshulta FK from getting behind. The Näshulta FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Velester Football Club were winning 1-6.

Velester Football Club's Dumitru Velicu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erland Spetz was a little too slow when Dumitru Velicu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-7. Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Eriksson in the 59th minute of play. Velester Football Club's Alvise Ferraresi was substituted for Flavio Bolli. Einar Olofsson got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marc Ahlstedt. After a rather tough play, Velester Football Club's Anselmo Baleren got a free kick in the 67th minute. Erland Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Velicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 70th minute, Velester Football Club's Dumitru Velicu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. In the 75th minute, Dumitru Velicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erland Spetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Dumitru Velicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Spetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Dennis Rullo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Erland Spetz made a huge save. In the 96thth minute of the game Dumitru Velicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Näshulta FK's Erland Spetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Dumitru Velicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-11. Erland Spetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
