In the 6th minute 陆沙轩 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cañizares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xalvador Pendones in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nueva Chicago's Xalvador Pendones in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 风云竞技's goalie prevented a goal. 风云竞技's attentive 孙迪渊 managed to snatch the ball when Constancio Navarro made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mutlu Daman in the 16th minute of the match. Diego Lugano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gregorio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xalvador Pendones in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Romero saved 风云竞技 from getting behind. Gregorio Romero came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Chicago's Xalvador Pendones. But to his dismay, Xalvador Pendones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nueva Chicago's Lino Barberá was substituted for Xalvador Pendones. After 27 minutes 风云竞技's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joga Leve who took care of the corner kick. Francesc Vilaplana was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lino Barberá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Barberá was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Nueva Chicago's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Nueva Chicago's Lino Barberá in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 风云竞技's goalie prevented a goal. Gregorio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou Deans, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gregorio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Barberá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Barberá to make the kick off. Gregorio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Barberá, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 52 minutes into the game, Lino Barberá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gregorio Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Lino Barberá put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gregorio Romero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Barberá in the 62nd minute of play forced 风云竞技's goalkeeper Gregorio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Nueva Chicago got a corner. 风云竞技's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joga Leve ran over to the corner to take the kick. 风云竞技's Gregorio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Barberá in the 67th minute of play. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陆沙轩 in the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, 风云竞技's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Barberá came free, but Gregorio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 风云竞技's Gregorio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Barberá in the 74th minute of play. 风云竞技's 孙迪渊 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Constancio Navarro, made in the 75th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Barberá in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lou Deans struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Gregorio Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Chicago. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Barberá in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Lou Deans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nueva Chicago fully deserved thier win.
