With a little luck, Hogwarts's Texeira Adan got control of the ball when Miguel Ángel Hvalica tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Texeira Adan managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Club Deportivo Álvarez's Miguel Ángel Hvalica fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Texeira Adan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Ángel Hvalica in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Club Deportivo Álvarez got a corner. Hogwarts's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Ángel Hvalica ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Ildefonso Fix at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Hogwarts. 1-0. Habeeb Shevchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Texeira Adan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Texeira Adan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Hvalica, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Eriberto Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Oces in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute Roberto Enriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Texeira Adan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zé Gabriel fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hogwarts's protests and gave Zé Gabriel a yellow card for diving instead.

If Ildefonso Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hogwarts booed when Club Deportivo Álvarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habeeb Shevchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Lohitzun in the 57th minute of play forced Hogwarts's goalkeeper Texeira Adan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Texeira Adan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habeeb Shevchenko in the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Álvarez defense, Adrian Oces kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Enol. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Enol should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Miguel Ángel Hvalica made a precise shot to the right of Texeira Adan. Hogwarts's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Can Ocakçı came free, but Texeira Adan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Oces received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eriberto Enol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Club Deportivo Álvarez's Miguel Ángel Hvalica to fire away a dangerous shot which Texeira Adan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute Miguel Ángel Hvalica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Texeira Adan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Adrian Lohitzun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hogwarts's Texeira Adan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habeeb Shevchenko in the 85th minute of play. Texeira Adan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Hvalica in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Can Ocakçı came free, but Texeira Adan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hogwarts getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tercero Moraina hit a great ball. Habeeb Shevchenko struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Texeira Adan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Álvarez. Eriberto Enol came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Hogwarts's Adrian Oces. But to his dismay, Adrian Oces quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hogwarts eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
