Paulo Gabirel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Santos saved Atlético Zelaya from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Rıdvan Balıkçı came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 8th minute of the match. 1930 Bafraspor's Çakır Alyakut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Herauso in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, 1930 Bafraspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıdvan Balıkçı to maneuver through the defense. Rıdvan Balıkçı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Santos having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Rıdvan Balıkçı came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Rıdvan Balıkçı notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos. Rui Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaudencio Poncio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Paulo Gabirel's late challenge caught a 1930 Bafraspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Gabirel helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Atlético Zelaya got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Gabirel. In the 29th minute, Rıdvan Balıkçı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1930 Bafraspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Atlético Zelaya defense, Rıdvan Balıkçı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Santos. The Atlético Zelaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Santos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Atlético Zelaya's Paulo Gabirel got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rıdvan Balıkçı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Rıdvan Balıkçı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Herauso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rıdvan Balıkçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos got control of the ball when Rıdvan Balıkçı tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Santos saved Atlético Zelaya from getting behind. 1930 Bafraspor's Rıdvan Balıkçı managed to work through Atlético Zelaya's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rıdvan Balıkçı dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 57 played minutes Atlético Zelaya got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Abadia. If Mao Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıdvan Balıkçı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1930 Bafraspor's Martin Johansson was substituted for Mao Zhen. The crowd rose to their feet as Henk Veerman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rui Santos. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Rui Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Veerman in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Veerman got free with Rui Santos in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Johansson came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Zelaya from getting a goal against them. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Atlético Zelaya's Rui Santos got control of the ball when Henk Veerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Felipe Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Hermans got free with Rui Santos in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's Henk Veerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Johansson in the 95th minute of play forced Atlético Zelaya's goalkeeper Rui Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Johansson came free, but Rui Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Johansson in the 96th minute of the match. The Atlético Zelaya fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1930 Bafraspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
