After a defensive mix-up in Panionios MK's zone, Alfredão Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alketas Bourouselos came out of the goal and Alfredão Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 11th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Alfredão Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led to Panionios MK's Thodoris Petalidis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With 23 minutes on the clock, Filippos Nioplias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Panionios MK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ:s goal. Alketas Bourouselos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Tesone in the 27th minute of the match. The corner led Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Donato Tesone to fire away a dangerous shot which Alketas Bourouselos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Øyvind Gilje sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Gilje to maneuver through the defense. Alfredão Massa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Alketas Bourouselos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Ramon Raymundo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

53 minutes into the game, Themos Leontiadis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pedro Augusto Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zisis Chronidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Panionios MK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ramon Raymundo 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Alketas Bourouselos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredão Massa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 70 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Panionios MK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredão Massa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zisis Chronidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Augusto Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zisis Chronidis ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goalkeeper Alketas Bourouselos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafinha Massa. Ramon Raymundo's late challenge caught a Panionios MK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Raymundo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Raymundo to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Allan Corrigan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panionios MK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ the free kick. In the 89th minute, one of Panionios MK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panionios MK. Panionios MK:s Alketas Bourouselos showed great skill when he stopped Donato Tesone:s penalty. Alketas Bourouselos came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Donato Tesone. But to his dismay, Donato Tesone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After 93 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Raymundo. The supporters of Panionios MK booed when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Øyvind Gilje didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's Argyris Ksagorarakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Augusto Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
