The tension between the Golden Tigers and the CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Naem Al Khaled. Lobo Zornoza took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdul Rahman Al Youha. Abdul Rahman Al Youha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Mario Pochekanski put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. Juvenal Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Pochekanski in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Ameer Ashkanani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Rahman Al Youha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célio Fontes went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mario Pochekanski took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Sergipano. Juvenal Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Lobo Zornoza scored 3-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdul Rahman Al Youha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Zanussi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Abdul Rahman Al Youha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Pochekanski in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Sergipano saved CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. Ameer Ashkanani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khalel Al Motar took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Sergipano. Juvenal Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Golden Tigers's Mohammad Al Ateqi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Golden Tigers's Abdul Rahman Al Youha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Tigers from getting a goal against them. Golden Tigers's Abdul Rahman Al Youha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Froila in the 47th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play Golden Tigers's Naem Al Khaled was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Golden Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naem Al Khaled didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Golden Tigers's Mario Pochekanski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. 56 minutes into the game, Mario Pochekanski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Juvenal Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ameer Ashkanani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juvenal Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Mario Pochekanski scored to the left of an out of position Juvenal Sergipano, making the score, 3-6. Golden Tigers were furious when Khalel Al Motar was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Golden Tigers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE:s goal. Abdul Rahman Al Youha went to the wrong direction when Célio Fontes was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Abdul Rahman Al Youha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Abdul Rahman Al Youha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Froila in the 84th minute of play. Juvenal Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Pochekanski in the 87th minute. When Nae Buteanu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Buteanu couldn't finish the play. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. José Paulo Almeida replaced Geovânio Galvão. In the 92nd minute, Célio Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-6. Golden Tigers were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mohammad Al Ateqi took the corner. Golden Tigers's Mohammad Al Ateqi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juvenal Sergipano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Mario Pochekanski put it in 4-7 from a short distance just to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Golden Tigers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
