Nestor Tesone started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Matia De Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Nabar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Nestor Tesone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abelardo Macías was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Wen Yu put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Nabar. After 21 minutes of play, Plaza Babys CF's Wen Yu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Nabar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25thth minute of the game Yasin Saleh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Laguneros de AT's Fabio Nabar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Nestor Tesone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Tesone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Plaza Babys CF's Matia De Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Nabar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 41 minutes in the game Bernardino Aguilo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pietro Echavarri. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wen Yu to strike the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tesone in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Nestor Tesone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Los Laguneros de AT were awarded a corner. Nestor Tesone went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Nestor Tesone drilling the ball in to score 2-5 behind Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper. After 62 minutes of play, Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Macías was left in no man's land by his defense there! Plaza Babys CF's Elisardo Campomanes was substituted for Zahar Garzon. Kazimierz Patora hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Edward Golec put in a rough tackle. In the 71st minute, one of Plaza Babys CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Plaza Babys CF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Tesone in the 76th minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Macías came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone. But to his dismay, Nestor Tesone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nestor Tesone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Tesone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Macías breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Tesone came free, but Abelardo Macías reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Los Laguneros de AT defense, Matia De Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Nabar. The Los Laguneros de AT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Nabar should have stopped the shot. Matia De Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fabio Nabar made a huge save. Los Laguneros de AT's Fabio Nabar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matia De Silva in the 93rd minute of play. Abelardo Macías showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Tesone in the 96th minute of the match. Plaza Babys CF played a much better game than Los Laguneros de AT and deserved their victory. The Los Laguneros de AT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
