The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristo Matxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robinson Hernández kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When The Shadows's Herbert Holmgren in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goalie prevented a goal. Edoardo Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Emiliano Marques hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Herman Lindell struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Edoardo Grande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Shadows. The supporters of The Shadows booed when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herman Lindell in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edoardo Grande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Matxin in the 37th minute of play. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Koehler in the 41st minute of the match. Edoardo Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gogo Fix hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Edoardo Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Basso made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Gabriel Soin sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Koehler to make the kick off. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Soin in the 52nd minute of play. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Edoardo Grande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ from getting a goal against them. Edoardo Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Holmgren in the 58th minute of the match. Edoardo Grande made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Niklas Lundqvist sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Robinson Hernández managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's supporters rose to their feet, but Robinson Hernández was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Basso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Edelmiro Selmo was substituted for Cristo Matxin. The Shadows's Ni Yu Feng was substituted for Ni Zhen Ying. Marcos Basso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Soin's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gabriel Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Basso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edoardo Grande came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by The Shadows's Herbert Holmgren. But to his dismay, Herbert Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 87 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Soin came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ were awarded a corner. Severo Chucho went to the cornerflag to take it. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Edoardo Grande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ from getting a goal against them. The Shadows's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
