Crescencio Guijarro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Lisandro Eladio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GangsTaz F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Horacio Jesus Gana put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Angelino Lawrence. In the 13th match minute, GangsTaz F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Jesus Gana to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Angelino Lawrence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Jesus Gana. Angelino Lawrence made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Horacio Jesus Gana sent off a good shot on target. Aristides Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xano Castellano, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Horacio Jesus Gana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Luke Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Lawrence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Velez-Malaga from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Panfilo in the 43rd minute of play forced Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Angelino Lawrence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, GangsTaz F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Jesus Gana to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Crescencio Guijarro to make the kick off. Angelino Lawrence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Panfilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abel Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Panfilo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Lawrence prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Panfilo in the 57th minute of play. If Abel Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Abel Panfilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Lawrence was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 71 played minutes Velez-Malaga got a freekick which was hit by Xano Castellano. Angelino Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Bernard in the 76th minute of play. The corner led to GangsTaz F. C.'s Hernan Vargas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Abel Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Lawrence having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Panfilo in the 85th minute of play forced Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Angelino Lawrence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abel Panfilo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the GangsTaz F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Panfilo couldn't finish the play.
