Yaji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Ranolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiner Studer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arturo Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heiner Studer made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Arturo Ranolfo sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Nico Gruenewald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yao Guang Chao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Ranolfo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Heiner Studer. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Gruenewald in the 21st minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Ranolfo got free with Heiner Studer in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nico Gruenewald scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yao Guang Chao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yao Guang Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuliano Baumann in the 27th minute of the match. Arturo Ranolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heiner Studer having to make a save. With a little luck, 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer got control of the ball when Arturo Ranolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yaji FC's attentive Pascual Pes managed to snatch the ball when Maurice Weber made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Yao Guang Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimir Wickihalter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arturo Ranolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Heiner Studer made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Arturo Ranolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heiner Studer was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giuliano Baumann got free with Yao Guang Chao in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Union Weberei's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Ranolfo came free, but Heiner Studer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaji FC made a substitution. Maximiliano Feliu replaced Pascual Pes. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when 1. FC Union Weberei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Ziemba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heiner Studer having to make a save. In the 73rd minute Kryspin Ziemba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes, Ladislao Tximitx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaji FC and the 1. FC Union Weberei players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ladislao Tximitx hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owain Wollenmann in the 86th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st play minute Nico Gruenewald came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yao Guang Chao. 1-3. After 95 minutes, Kryspin Ziemba made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded 1. FC Union Weberei left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yaji FC.
