With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Jobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Club Atlethico Talleres's goalkeeper Basilio Jobo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Recife. The crowd rose to their feet as Wágner Recife kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basilio Jobo. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play.

Basilio Jobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zbyszek Gondela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Jobo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Zbyszek Gondela made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Jobo. Club Atlethico Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Jiang Zhen Sen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Gondela, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Zbyszek Gondela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Jobo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 90th minute, Zbyszek Gondela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eendracht Vooruit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. After 94 minutes, Zbyszek Gondela made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlethico Talleres's Basilio Jobo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eendracht Vooruit fully deserved thier win.
