Uraricuera EC's Chiquinho Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Sergipano in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Uraricuera EC's Ismael Sergipano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

The wind increased when Ismael Sergipano made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Vilar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chiquinho Peres. That made the score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Joaquim Vilar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Chiquinho Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Munhoz in the 69th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Vilar in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Joaquim Vilar hit a great ball. Uraricuera EC's Glauco Aparecido was substituted for Pedro Munhoz. In the 95th minute, Joaquim Vilar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chiquinho Peres. The goal made the score 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Canalla de Chicago eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
