In the 29th minute, Patrice Delsaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erkut Tun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddie Sörman in the 41st minute. SubaV's Erkut Tun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save SubaV from getting a goal against them. The Fomac FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SubaV were winning 0-3.

Thanks to some nice moves Lionel Bolton could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Ross Barber however easily saved by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SubaV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
