In the 16th minute Manfred Majman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Nordstedt to maneuver through the defense. 洪建朗 hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Nordstedt in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute, Sakarias Nordstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Nordstedt in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Rose 1979's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Malcolm Vennerlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Syrianska FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Rickard Örtendahl got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Johan Ahlqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 33rd minute, Rickard Örtendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Majman in the 41st minute of play. The Black Rose 1979 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Syrianska FC were winning 1-2.

Syrianska FC's Hannes Engström was substituted for Billy Lång. When Syrianska FC's Manfred Majman in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Karlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. D.J. Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. João Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Pablo Chabier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Karlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Malcolm Vennerlund charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malcolm Vennerlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Syrianska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Vennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Nordstedt in the 72nd minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
