Protegéerna's attentive Cosme Demesio managed to snatch the ball when Meta Date made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Python came free, but Doriva Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pa-Dembo Bumbac in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Michael Näver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Daniel Mikla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stano Štoch came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ingemar Åberg could save by the left post. Doriva Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Python, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With 45 minutes on the clock, Yasen Súlov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, Yasen Súlov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes in the game Meta Date got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Petter Skarkman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Doriva Reis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Petter Skarkman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Doriva Reis firmly grabbed it by the left post. 67 minutes into the match, V.K.DRINK Hermanovce's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Doriva Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Protegéerna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
