The audience thought a goal was coming when Rajmund Kovács got free with Carl Engström in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Radamel Oakley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surahammar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th minute, Radamel Oakley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dunakeszi Lake City's Lóránt Bakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Benett in the 40th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Dunakeszi Lake City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Surahammar:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Frank to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dunakeszi Lake City's zone, Radamel Oakley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lóránt Bakos came out of the goal and Radamel Oakley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Radamel Oakley put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Lóránt Bakos. Hugó Gál made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gergely Tóth. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dunakeszi Lake City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Surahammar's André Pettersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lóránt Bakos. That made the score 0-13 after 90 minutes of play.
