The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, CON-E-CO's Demesio Galarreta got control of the ball when Rähim Sterling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rähim Sterling in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demesio Galarreta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erik Skog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Guimarães in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Demesio Galarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato de Salles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kvalfält in the 20th minute of play forced CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Demesio Galarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Skog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Bruñon in the 22nd minute of play. Jörn Petersson's late challenge caught a CON-E-CO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörn Petersson helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes, CON-E-CO's Argider Lizundia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Skog came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CON-E-CO reached it. Erik Skog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bras Velasco in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Bruno Bruñon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garphyttan's Erik Skog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demesio Galarreta made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Donato de Salles sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Alfred Mossberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes of play, Garphyttan's Rähim Sterling made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demesio Galarreta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demesio Galarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Albäck in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Bruñon in the 36th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Garphyttan's Rähim Sterling slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demesio Galarreta. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. Dinaras Kantauskas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes, CON-E-CO's Argider Lizundia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Skog came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CON-E-CO reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to CON-E-CO getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Urbano Cevallo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaldo Longoria in the 60th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Erik Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Artaldo Longoria made a precise shot to the right of Erik Skog. Garphyttan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Demesio Galarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by CON-E-CO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato de Salles was slow to take the kick. During this time Garphyttan's players had a chance to rest. 69 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's Donato de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demesio Galarreta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Michael Kvalfält made a precise shot to the right of Demesio Galarreta. CON-E-CO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Garphyttan made a substitution. Algot Ahlfors replaced Michael Kvalfält. Garphyttan's Jim Kellman was substituted for Philipp Konermann. Donato de Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demesio Galarreta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Garphyttan's zone, Artaldo Longoria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Skog came out of the goal and Artaldo Longoria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Algot Ahlfors took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demesio Galarreta. Demesio Galarreta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 84th minute, Eric Bergström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Demesio Galarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Ahlfors in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Garphyttan's Algot Ahlfors nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demesio Galarreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jim Kellman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garphyttan's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Kellman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demesio Galarreta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
