Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Beti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nando Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Estevon Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevon Abancens in the 31st minute of play forced Fracasados's goalkeeper Mai Yao Yao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano got control of the ball when Theagenis Papageorgiou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theagenis Papageorgiou to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mai Yao Yao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Escuadrón Mercenario's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Fracasados were victorious despite being under pressure from Escuadrón Mercenario for much of the match.
