Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kağan Boran started the match with the kick off. Evert Mellberg was a little too slow when Spas Spitzmüller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. A.C Barak's Uğuralp Vasfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Jonasson in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erkan Saykut got free with Evert Mellberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erkan Saykut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Evert Mellberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Jonasson in the 26th minute of play forced A.C Barak's goalkeeper Uğuralp Vasfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Gert Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Lions and the A.C Barak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evert Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spas Spitzmüller in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spas Spitzmüller in the 30th minute of play forced The Lions's goalkeeper Evert Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uğuralp Vasfi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert Carlsson went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Evert Mellberg made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Erkan Saykut sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Arne Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uğuralp Vasfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spas Spitzmüller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Evert Mellberg made a huge save. Iustin Braniște's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uğuralp Vasfi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Atacan in the 52nd minute of play forced The Lions's goalkeeper Evert Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Kağan Boran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evert Mellberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Evert Mellberg came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C Barak's Spas Spitzmüller. But to his dismay, Spas Spitzmüller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Evert Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spas Spitzmüller in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Atacan in the 62nd minute of play forced The Lions's goalkeeper Evert Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erkan Saykut scored 5-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evert Mellberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spas Spitzmüller in the 72nd minute of play forced The Lions's goalkeeper Evert Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Erkan Saykut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C Barak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Arne Jonasson succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-3. Evert Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkan Saykut in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Erkan Saykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Mellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, one of The Lions:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Lions. Evert Mellberg went to the wrong direction when Kağan Boran was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 92nd match minute, A.C Barak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kağan Boran to maneuver through the defense. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Carlsson in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Per-Åke Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the A.C Barak players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
