With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Tepedino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stanley St Clair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Que se abra o mar from getting a goal against them. Albertinho Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Lando Norin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dursun Ekinci having to make a save. Stanislaw Rekowski's late challenge caught a Que se abra o mar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislaw Rekowski helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Rekowski. Que se abra o mar's Lando Norin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
