An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Lee in the 36th minute of play forced SteffosPojkar FF's goalkeeper Hubert Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when German Baumer got free with Ali Artuner in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute Bryan Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Ahlfors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Azam Chew's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SteffosPojkar FF's goalie and right to Bryan Abdul. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SteffosPojkar FF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

Manchester United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
