Cup2's Eliseo Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Cup2 from getting a goal against them. Mitchel Dijkstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Skoroda in the 6th minute of the match. If Walmir Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Young Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Mello came free, but Mitchel Dijkstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Cup2's Téo Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mitchel Dijkstra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Cup2 got a freekick which was hit by Tzvetoslav Pehlivanov. In the 23rd minute, Walmir Breckenfeld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eliseo Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 28th minute of play. When Georgi Tasev fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cup2's protests and gave Georgi Tasev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Georgi Tasev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Moreno came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Young Benefica's Walmir Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Walmir Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 39th minute Walmir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Young Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Skoroda came free, but Mitchel Dijkstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitchel Dijkstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tang Di Cheng hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes, Cup2's Georgi Tasev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mitchel Dijkstra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cup2 reached it. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Téo Mello put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mitchel Dijkstra.
A collision led to Cup2 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aleandro Ortiz hit a great ball. Jens van Basten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Moreno having to make a save. In the 57thth minute of the game Walmir Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Eliseo Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 61st minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Breckenfeld's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiaguinho de Sousa made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jens van Basten however managed to control. 73 minutes into the match, Walmir Breckenfeld notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cup2's Eliseo Moreno. Eliseo Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliseo Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feyzullay Taşkıner in the 75th minute of the match. Young Benefica's Feyzullay Taşkıner got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 83rd minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Young Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Skoroda came free, but Mitchel Dijkstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 86th minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Walmir Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Young Benefica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmir Breckenfeld's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Cup2's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Georgi Tasev in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Young Benefica fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cup2 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
