The Alba FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Alba FC's Ciro Cino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Donato Amatori fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alba FC's protests and gave Donato Amatori a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Alba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Amatori to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th match minute, Alba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Iannotti to maneuver through the defense. Alex Marzulli charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Marzulli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Alex Marzulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Enmanuel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Davide Conte. Alba FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Urki in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Conte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davide Conte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Enmanuel in the 24th minute of play. Hermengildo Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ciro Cino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Paulo Enmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Formentera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Enmanuel couldn't finish the play. Andrea Iannotti made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Formentera's Hernan Chus. 38 minutes into the game, Federico Di Iorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Astor Aragones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the game, Federico Di Iorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. Federico Di Iorio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Davide Conte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Enmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Urki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Enmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Davide Conte made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Paulo Enmanuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Formentera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Davide Conte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Enmanuel got free with Davide Conte in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Davide Conte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Enmanuel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. Alex Marzulli kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Donato Amatori kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hernan Chus was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Domingo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Domingo Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Urki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Cresencio struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Davide Conte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. Alba FC's Davide Conte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Urki in the 84th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Alba FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Amatori. Domingo Urki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davide Conte having to make a save. The Formentera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
