Remigio Valerón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Labarra in the 16th minute of the match. Xavier von Felten made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Franc Fabra. Jakes Vila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Lepucki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Iwan Lepucki came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Jakes Vila. But to his dismay, Jakes Vila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Remigio Valerón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Vase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Valerón having to interfere. Gaudencio Lekubegi might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigio Valerón. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Lekubegi ran back to his position shaking his head. LavAzzA's Kuno Kubin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Taurino Losantos in the 34 minute of the game. Remigio Valerón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 42nd minute. Remigio Valerón came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Lekubegi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Laerte Favoretto replaced Amadeo Lara. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Lekubegi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 53rd minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaudencio Lekubegi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigio Valerón. Remigio Valerón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cristian Reyes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Remigio Valerón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 71st minute of play. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Favoretto in the 73rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Iwan Lepucki threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laerte Favoretto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gaudencio Lekubegi scored 5-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Valerón, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LavAzzA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO for a fine match.
