Jakes Vila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estevan Valdovinos having to make a save. Remigio Valerón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcadio Manosalva in the 10th minute of the match. If Jakes Vila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abdón Villacosta fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragones Celestes's protests and gave Abdón Villacosta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dragones Celestes getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abdón Villacosta hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Dragones Celestes's goal looked a bit too open when Jakes Vila came free, but Estevan Valdovinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estevan Valdovinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakes Vila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jakes Vila came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakes Vila couldn't finish the play. Abdón Villacosta hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Victor Velarde kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Estevan Valdovinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Lara in the 34th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Alcadio Manosalva came free, but Remigio Valerón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Alcadio Manosalva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Valerón. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Laerte Favoretto replaced Amadeo Lara. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakes Vila made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Jeraldo Oyarce in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cristian Reyes. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Jakes Vila got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Alcadio Manosalva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remigio Valerón, 0-3. A collision led to Dragones Celestes getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Victor Velarde hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Alcadio Manosalva came free, but Remigio Valerón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play Dragones Celestes's Victor Velarde was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO booed when Dragones Celestes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Velarde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Dragones Celestes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Velarde to maneuver through the defense. Iago Segura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Estevan Valdovinos. Dragones Celestes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alcadio Manosalva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragones Celestes's supporters rose to their feet, but Alcadio Manosalva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Valerón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dragones Celestes's Estevan Valdovinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Escobar in the 76th minute of play. Alcadio Manosalva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guillermo Rapado's late challenge caught a Dragones Celestes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Rapado helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Rapado hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Alcadio Manosalva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Reyes struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Estevan Valdovinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO. Remigio Valerón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipo Angel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Escobar might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Estevan Valdovinos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Dalgalarrando kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Iago Segura got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragones Celestes's Estevan Valdovinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Escobar in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dragones Celestes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
