In the 18thth minute of the game Jakes Vila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Gladdarna's Emanuel Björkdahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Jakes Vila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Laerte Favoretto in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakes Vila made a kick off. After some careless play in the ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO defense, Mattias Busk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Valerón. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Valerón should have stopped the shot. Laerte Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Björkdahl having to interfere. Henric Smefeldt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remigio Valerón. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. IFK Gladdarna's Frans Koopmans was substituted for Eugeniusz Cichewski. IFK Gladdarna made a substitution. Jakob Koch replaced Mattias Busk. Remigio Valerón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Koch in the 67th minute of play. Torbjörn Hägglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Valerón having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Julio Alacuart managed to get in a good position for a shot. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Alacuart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Björkdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remigio Valerón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Hägglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Emanuel Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Guido Escobar notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of IFK Gladdarna's Emanuel Björkdahl. Emanuel Björkdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brian Ahlroth kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Guido Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frans Koopmans came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the IFK Gladdarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Koopmans couldn't finish the play. The IFK Gladdarna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's performance. The match ended with a win for ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO.
