Tim Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Thake in the 12th minute of the match. Floriana Celtics's Mats Sangolt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Benno in the 14th minute of play. Tim Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Thake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Alex Testaferrata Viani sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Real Calle's Tim Nyberg got control of the ball when Giorgio Caruana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tim Nyberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Thake's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Dolfo Olmos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Sangolt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgio Caruana struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tim Nyberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floriana Celtics. A collision led to Real Calle getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Axel Sjöberg hit a great ball. Tim Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Thake in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute George Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Sangolt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Real Calle's George Wennersten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Sangolt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giorgio Caruana was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Kyle Thake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Nyberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mats Sangolt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Wennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Real Calle's Barros Colsa was substituted for Carlos Caldeira. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Calle walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
