The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Almiron in the 3rd minute of play forced C.A. Caminiaga's goalkeeper Hemming Tjørnum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Miguel Almiron put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hemming Tjørnum. After some careless play in the C.A. Caminiaga defense, Miguel Almiron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hemming Tjørnum. The C.A. Caminiaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hemming Tjørnum should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemming Tjørnum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hemming Tjørnum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Jaunzuria's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Victorino Frasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Baltasar Sancho made a huge save. Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Sacro Balompié from getting a goal against them. Hemming Tjørnum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Miguel Almiron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Jaunzuria in the 38th minute of play forced C.A. Caminiaga's goalkeeper Hemming Tjørnum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Diego Jaunzuria made a precise shot to the right of Hemming Tjørnum. C.A. Caminiaga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Hemming Tjørnum made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Miguel Almiron sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, Miguel Almiron lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Hemming Tjørnum. Hemming Tjørnum was a little too slow when Miguel Almiron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-7. Hemming Tjørnum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Maties in the 65th minute of the match. Baltasar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Hemming Tjørnum made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Diego Jaunzuria sent off a good shot on target. Hemming Tjørnum stood somewhat misplaced when Miguel Almiron came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Sacro Balompié's Isidoro Izel was substituted for Americo Florinio. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Luisito Lander replaced Diego Jaunzuria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Nesto in the 77th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-9 became the score in the 79th minute when Miguel Almiron elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Miguel Almiron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Hemming Tjørnum skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 85 minutes C.A. Caminiaga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Almiron who took care of the corner kick. After 89th play minutes Luisito Lander shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Hemming Tjørnum and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 93rd minute Sacro Balompié were awarded a corner. Miguel Almiron went to the cornerflag to take it. Rodolfo Txeru's late challenge caught a Sacro Balompié's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Txeru helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle sounded Sacro Balompié left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A. Caminiaga.
