Fernandão Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Armando Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Trigo made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mazinho Martins. After 41 played minutes Pistolero Tricolor FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Bela. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Pistolero Tricolor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 48th minute of play forced Pistolero Tricolor FC's goalkeeper Fang Bing Lei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Oliver Bierhoff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fang Bing Lei. Pistolero Tricolor FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Bierhoff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Fernandão Trigo made the kick off in the second half. Oliver Bierhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandão Trigo in the 55th minute of play. ADM Taquaras's Nestor Soeiro was substituted for Cido Cabral. In the 66th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Juan Torrent replaced Oliver Bierhoff. Fang Bing Lei made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Juan Torrent sent off a good shot on target. Fang Bing Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Torrent in the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ADM Taquaras defense, Armando Bela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Moreno. The ADM Taquaras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Moreno should have stopped the shot. After having played for 85 minutes, Armando Bela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pistolero Tricolor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Bela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ADM Taquaras were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Pistolero Tricolor FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Áron Bódog took the corner. Matthijs Light tried in the 92nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Fang Bing Lei a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. After 96 minutes Pistolero Tricolor FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Áron Bódog who took care of the corner kick. The Pistolero Tricolor FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ADM Taquaras's performance. The match ended with a win for ADM Taquaras.
